Ten days, all of Morocco

With 10 days you can see almost all of Morocco, without missing the important things and without rushing. This itinerary combines the four imperial cities, the Sahara Desert and the High Atlas, with time to enjoy each place.

Days 1-2 · Marrakech

The red city: medina, Jemaa el-Fna, palaces and gardens. A good starting point to acclimatise.

Days 3-4 · Atlas and desert

Ait Ben Haddou, the Dadès Valley and the Todra Gorges, up to the night in the dunes of Merzouga.

Days 5-6 · Fez

From the desert to the north, to Fez. Two days for its medieval medina, the tanneries and an excursion to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes.

Days 7-8 · Chefchaouen and the north

Up into the Rif to discover Chefchaouen, the blue city, and its mountain surroundings — one of the most photogenic corners of the country.

Days 9-10 · Atlantic coast and return

Head down to the coast to finish in Essaouira, the pearl of the Atlantic, before returning to Marrakech for the flight home.

How to do it?

Such a complete route calls for organisation and a local guide. Check our 10-day wonders of Morocco tour or the 9-day Tangier to Marrakech route. We also tailor it to your measure.
