Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival In Marrakech
We wait for you at the airport exit with your name on a sign and drive you into the city — fifteen or twenty minutes. We handle the check-in, and from there the day is yours: unpack slowly, or head straight out. If your flight lands early, Jemaa el-Fna at dusk is the best first impression the city can give you, and you'll eat just as well at a restaurant with a show as on a rooftop with the square at your feet.
Day 02
Monumental Marrakech
Breakfast at the hotel, then the city on foot with a private guide from ten to two. The Koutoubia, 13th century, sister of Seville's Giralda and the silhouette everything else is measured against. The Bahía Palace, 16th century, home to the aristocracy of Muslim Morocco: in the ambassadors' hall it's worth stopping and looking up at the cedar ceiling. And Jemaa el-Fna, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which at midday and at night feels like two different squares. We finish at two and the afternoon is free.
Day 03
Majorelle, Yves Saint Laurent And The Agafay Desert
A slow morning. At three, the Majorelle Gardens and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum: the blue that carries the painter's name, and the garden Saint Laurent bought to save it from developers. At half past four we head for Agafay, forty-five minutes of bare hills right on the city's doorstep. A camel ride as the sun drops and, for those who want to stretch it out, dinner at a luxury camp in the desert itself (not included). Back at the hotel around half past nine.
Day 04
Marrakech At Your Own Pace
A day with no schedule, to fill however you like. You can wake up in a hot-air balloon over the valley, with the Atlas behind you. Ride through the medina and the palm groves in a sidecar, the most fun way to see the city without walking it. Or slip away to Essaouira on the Atlantic coast and come back smelling of sea air. And if your return flight leaves today, we'll sort that too: we'll take you to the airport whenever you need.
The balloon, the sidecar and the Essaouira excursion are optional, at extra cost.
Day 05
Transfer To The Airport
At whatever time your flight requires, transfer to Marrakech airport. End of the trip and of our services.
